Founded by Zwaardvis and Pörtner Seats in 2010, Lande Marine combines in excess of three decades of experience in the production of specialised helm seats, helm seat pedestals and table pedestals for recreational sailing and commercial shipping.
Pörtner Seats and Zwaardvis are world leaders and operate independently in Germany and the Netherlands under the Lande Family flag, with around 200 staff and factories in Schijndel (NL), Lanaken (BE) and Bursa (TR).
Headed up by the second and third generations, both companies prioritise product quality, reliability and ergonomic design over fashionable trends. In-house production predominates, with Zwaardvis focusing on metalwork and Pörtner Seats concentrating on the manufacture and assembly of the upper parts of seats. Although they excel in small and medium-sized series, they also fulfil bespoke orders.
The products are distributed worldwide and both companies provide comprehensive parts and repair services, even for older models. As reliable partners in the seat and pedestal sector, both Zwaardvis and Pörtner Seats endeavour to forge long-term business relationships.
